Refund & Return Policy

Because we supply research chemicals whose integrity depends on controlled storage and handling, we cannot accept returns of shipped product, and we do not issue refunds once an order has shipped. Orders may be cancelled before they ship. Where a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, cover depends on whether shipping insurance was purchased. Where we shipped the wrong item or omitted an item, we will make it right regardless of insurance.

All reports must reach us within 7 days. Details follow.

You may cancel an order at any time before it is dispatched by contacting us with your order number. If the order has not entered fulfilment we will cancel it and refund the full amount to the original payment method.

Once an order has been dispatched it can no longer be cancelled, and the remainder of this policy applies.

We do not accept returns and do not issue refunds for change of mind once an order has shipped. This includes ordering the wrong compound, quantity, or concentration, no longer needing the material, and finding a different price elsewhere.

Research materials cannot be restocked or resold once they have left our control, because we cannot verify the conditions they have been stored in. This is a condition of purchase and you accept it at checkout.

Where a package is lost, stolen, or arrives physically damaged, the remedy available to you depends on whether shipping insurance was purchased for that order:

• Insurance purchased. We will file the carrier claim and, once the claim is accepted, replace the affected items or refund them at our discretion.
• Insurance not purchased. Risk of loss passes to you on dispatch, and we cannot replace or refund the order. We will still supply the tracking record and any documentation you need to pursue the carrier directly.

Shipping insurance is offered at checkout. We recommend it on every order.

If we shipped something other than what you ordered, omitted an item that you paid for, or the item does not match the Certificate of Analysis supplied with it, that is our error and it does not depend on shipping insurance.

In those cases we will, at our discretion, ship the correct item or refund the affected line item. Where we ask for the incorrect item back, we pay the return shipping and provide a prepaid label. Please do not return anything to us without contacting us first, as unauthorised returns cannot be processed or credited.

All reports under sections 4 and 5 must reach us within 7 days of delivery, or within 7 days of the expected delivery date where a package has not arrived. Reports received after that window cannot be processed.

Please include:

• Your order number
• A description of the problem
• Clear photographs of the outer packaging, the inner packaging, and the affected items
• For damage claims, a photograph of the shipping label

Please keep all packaging until the matter is resolved. Carriers routinely require it for damage claims, and disposing of it may prevent a claim from being accepted.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We aim to process them within 5 business days of approval. The time taken for a refund to appear on your statement is controlled by your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.

Original shipping charges and any insurance fee are not refundable, except where an entire order is refunded as our error.

If you believe there is a problem with an order, please contact us first. We will work with you within the terms above. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us prevents us from resolving the matter directly and may result in the associated account being declined for future orders.
